- Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations
- Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business
- Organise and manage the factory's internal audit system and to ensure compliance with pollution control requirements.
- Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance and corrective action reporting systems to other auditors.
- Host external Quality System, Environment and Safety audits.
- Analyse current and future procedural needs of the business.
- Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan Standard Operating practices required under the overriding Quality procedures.
- Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
- Support other functional areas of the business including procurement, business services and design
- Undertake internal project and management audits during the tender, design and manufacture stages.
- Assist with training of quality awareness and carry out drills and exercises to manage emergency situations on site.
- To ensure a safe and healthful workplace for employees, assure compliance with applicable Environmental, Health and Safety related laws, rules, regulations and policies and procedures etcs.
- To carry out functional safety management work such as control, monitoring, enforce, implementing, coordinate, maintaining and improving Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental related matters.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (Dept of Safety & Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health Department, Fire Services Department and other related government or non-government to ensure compliance with all legal requirements).
- Familiar, to lead, manage and implement Quality Management System, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- To implement and maintain quality, safety and health procedures and policies in order to create awareness to all staff regarding the environment, health and safety workplace.
- Supervise and investigate and analysis of accidents, as well as prepare and review the incident Investigation report, find out the solution to eliminate incident and hazards happen again in future.
- As a Safety and Health Committee to prepare, organize, and filling those documents, notices, notifications, minutes that are relevant to safety matters.
- Waste management including monitor and inspect the equipment, ensuring safety standards has met the requirements of DOE.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma, bachelor’s degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (QMS/Environmental/Health/ Safety), Science & Technology or equivalent.
- At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position with experience of working in manufacturing was more preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Initiative and able to work independently with a high degree of commitment to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
- Hardworking & with excellent teamwork.
- Candidate who can start immediately would be in advantage.
- Familiar with EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) and provide direct EHS support to Kulim site.
- To perform any task assigned by superior or management.
- Hardworking & with excellent teamwork.
- Must be willing to work in Kulim, Kedah.
