SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communication Manager will spearhead the development and execution of strategic marketing and communication plans aimed at elevating brand visibility, driving engagement, and supporting organizational objectives across Southeast Asia. This role involves managing content creation across multiple channels, overseeing public relations efforts, and coordinating integrated marketing campaigns. The Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and impactful outreach while analysing market trends and performance metrics to refine strategies.

Reporting directly to the Country Leader/CEO, this role develops, plans, and executes outbound marketing activities for the company, including public relations, tradeshows, events, online & offline communication, social media, lead generation, product launches, branding in accordance with the given budget and Group’s corporate image. At a Senior level of experience, starting from the global marketing mix guidelines, the Marketing and Communication Manager selects and implements the most suitable mix to achieve the company goals in the markets and implements the overall distinctive material brand experience in the markets, adapting specific deliverables to the local culture. The role is also required to conduct comprehensive analysis to understand company and product positioning, identify target audiences, and establish specific marketing objectives across various product segments, geographies, and channels.

The role operates as an Individual Contributor and will work under the technical direction of the Corporate Chief Marketing Officer.

The role will ensure that key corporate and product messages are communicated effectively to target audiences inside and outside the company. The employee continuously and actively updates the Subsidiary’s Direction of the ongoing activities and suggests new strategies relating his/her activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and execute global marketing strategies and plans to drive new business growth at the local market level. Oversee integrated marketing communications to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Establish marketing objectives, KPIs, and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Support the annual and long-term enterprise marketing planning processes.

Internal & External Branding

  • Lead the development and execution of local marketing programs and campaigns in alignment with global marketing guidelines to enhance the Biesse Brand Experience at the market level.
  • Manage marketing dashboards and communicate with key stakeholders to analyse and improve marketing performance (using CRM and other Biesse systems), identifying corrective actions
  • Manage and uphold the company’s brand identity across all internal and external channels, including the physical image of offices and showrooms in Southeast Asia.
  • Enhance and maintain brand positioning and perception through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop internal branding strategies that boost employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with HR to implement a comprehensive employer branding strategy to attract, engage, and retain talents.

Event Management

  • Develop and manage the calendar of marketing programs, events and activities.
  • Generate market-specific commercial launch plans and coordinate with global representatives to ensure proper execution of launch activities.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute events, including trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, product launches and internal corporate events.
  • Oversee events logistics, budgets and promotional activities to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and successful execution.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to generate leads and foster client relationships during events.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure seamless event production and branding consistency.
  • Track event performance and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor marketing campaign-led leads and opportunities at the market level, collaborating closely with sales to accelerate customer decision-making and enable sales success.

Digital Marketing

  • Collaborate with the Brand Guidelines & Corporate team to implement brand strategies and promotional plans, supporting content development and reviewing communication materials across various channels (i.e., webinars, advertisements, website / industry portal materials, eblasts, social media posts, video scripts).
  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing and content marketing.
  • Leverage analytics and data to optimise digital campaigns and drive lead generation. Use insights to develop strategy, enhance engagement, and assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns against established KPIs.
  • Oversee the creation and management of website and social media content tailored to the Southeast Asian market.
  • Identify and implement new strategies to enhance the company’s brand presence in Southeast Asia.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends and incorporate relevant strategies into the marketing plan.
  • Assess the impact of marketing programs and campaigns on achieving objectives such as traffic growth, lead generation, and customer acquisition. Provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Stakeholder Management

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including HQ teams, marcomm managers in other countries, SEA senior management, customers, vendors, partners, and media.
  • Collaborate with HQ marketing teams, external agencies, and consultants to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage partnerships that contribute to the success of marketing initiatives.

Internal and External Communications

  • Develop and manage internal communication strategies to foster a positive corporate culture.
  • Create and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials to external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets and other communication partners,
  • Oversee crisis communication efforts and maintain a positive public image for the company.

Product Marketing

  • Collaborate with Sales and Technical Application teams to assess value delivery of products and services, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute product marketing through events, advertising campaigns and digital marketing.

Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Development of yearly marketing budget of marketing department and monthly reporting under the supervision of the Country Leadership.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
  • Achieve a strong ROI on all marketing and communication activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate’s degree in Marketing/Business Management/Communications or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years and above of experience in B2B market management, including developing B2B marketing plans and campaigns and measuring marketing performance.
  • Required language(s): Fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in any Southeast Asia languages will be an added advantage
  • Experience working in Southeast Asia will be highly considered.
  • Strong event management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing communication strategies across Southeast Asia that align with business objectives
  • Good understanding of various social media platforms with the ability to manage social media engagement independently
