Project Engineer (Start Immediately / Short Notice Period)

At ReTes we supply products from leading brands, manufacturers of energy management solutions, facilities maintenance, data analytics, alerts and monitoring system. We now have an opening for Project Engineer.

Job objective:

In this role, the Project Engineer will be reporting and providing assistance to the Project Manager, work closely with our brand partners, key customers, local certification and industry bodies. The holder of this role will manage a few projects in varying fields (energy management and IoT) with the support of our partners and team to improve and expand the business by making sure that the customers have the solutions available to fit their needs.

• Key responsibilities:

· Manage projects in the energy management and IoT field

· Participate in site installation for projects, if required

· Providing and promote technical solutions or consultations to stakeholders to obtain the right solutions that meets their energy targets

· Perform weekly and monthly calculations of energy saving

· Attend to urgent cases remotely or on site if required

· Sets ambitious targets and devises concrete plans to achieve them together with the team

· Maintain smooth communication with customers

· Provide implementation and technical support to technicians

· Prepare documents for projects, if required

· Provide assistance to Project Manager

· Perform other departmental duties as required

· Attends and host regular meetings with team

· Discuss and update work progress to key stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Requires a bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher degree

· Certificate in Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) would be preferred

· 1-5 years working experience in engineering/ energy / IoT field.

· Technically proficient with wiring, grounding, utilities interface and performance monitoring.

· Familiar with Malaysian Standards for electrical system & other relevant international standards.

· Has excellent communication skills and sound technical knowledge, coupled with a dynamic approach to sales

· Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia language

· Willingness to travel if required

· Success-oriented, flexible and a team player

· Past experience in sales involving local clients is an advantage
