As a QA/QC Executive, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the quality standards are met with optimal quality at our packhouse & farms. He/She will be overseeing the implementation of Food Safety and Quality Management System and reporting findings to Food Safety Manager (HQ).

The candidate should possess good communication skills with the ability to pay a close eye for detail. He/She should maintain safety conditions and passionate for doing work that makes things move forward.

Job Description:

  • Write, implement, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and other documentation for QA/Food Safety activities.
  • Perform receiving inspection and data collection of incoming materials on FIFO basic.
  • To evaluate and qualifying new produces from suppliers not in the Approved Suppliers List.
  • Conduct quality check for produces packed by packhouse team.
  • Perform check and balance for implementation of FIFO practices for goods in warehouse and finished goods.
  • To prepare weekly and monthly quality report by performing data review audits (packing quality, cleaning & sanitation program, maintenance records as per scheduled).
  • To involve in the implementation and verification of Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP within the company.
  • To involve in performing internal and external audits to determine compliance to Food Safety/HACCP/GMP and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaison with government and/or certification bodies in relevant to Food Safety/HACCP/GMP/MyGAP on operational matters at Packhouse.
  • To reply the non-conformance (NC) and ensure the recertification been done in timely manner.
  • To support the Food Safety Manager with hosting customer audits and regulatory inspections.
  • To drive continuous improvement and quality projects at packhouse.
  • Assist to maintain and deliver training in quality related topics to packhouse workers including food safety training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Microbiology/Food Technology/Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of quality management experiences in food industry/packing house/farming.
  • Understand of food safety and quality management (FSSC22000/ISO22000)/HACCP and GMP requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Food Act 1983 and Regulations 1985.
  • Familiarity with Food Safety, GMP, Preventive Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Sanitation Ability to prioritize and manage work effectively.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Cameron Highlands, Pahang.
