YYC is looking for passionate Event & Marketing Executive to plan and organize webinars and events with close attention to details, to ensure webinars and events are well managed and delivered to expectations. This includes working well with all delivery partners and field teams in the delivery of services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver all webinars and events with good planning and coordination to meet their goals and expected results.
  • Identify potential problems and take preventive action to ensure webinars and events proceed as planned.
  • Evaluate outcomes of webinars and events for continuous improvement in planning and organizing.
  • Coordinate planning meetings for webinars and events across relevant teams and ensure follow-up actions are taken.
  • Manage event costs and source for appropriate venues to host the events.
  • Be well-versed in technical skills: arrange and test all event logistics, including PA system, greenscreens, audio-visuals, décor, and overall setup to ensure all are in good working order.
  • Manage customers and the public with tact and diplomacy and relationship building.
  • Coordinate with external providers, delivery partners, and field teams in the delivery of their services.
  • Promote and assist in all sales launches, marketing activities, webinars, events, courses, and promotions.
  • Assist in proposing effective marketing plans and strategies for all products to achieve company sales targets.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase awareness of YYC.
  • Ensure event targets are met, such as the number of participants in each event.
  • Attend and participate in webinars and events.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned to support the Sales & Marketing team.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/“O” Level Certificate.
  • Degree in Business, Mass Communication, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in corporate event management, customer service, or any relevant experience.
  • Candidate with technical knowledge or skills in event set-up has additional advantage.
  • Good people interaction skills, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, and proactive learning are essential.
  • Strong communication skills are needed.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin & English (oral and written) is preferred, as the role involves dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.
