REMOTE - Video Editor

• REMOTE WORK (based in Malaysia)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Senior Editors, Videographers, and the Creative Team to understand project goals and vision.
• Edit Videos: Edit and assemble raw footage for websites and social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Enhance Footage: Add music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to produce polished final videos.
• Follow Brand Guidelines: Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a high level of visual quality.
• Manage Assets: Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s video asset library and organize raw footage for easy retrieval.
• Technical Support: Provide support in colour grading, video encoding, and sound editing.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all videos meet technical standards for various digital platforms, maintaining top-notch quality.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing (internships or freelance work included).
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator; familiarity with Capcut is a plus.
• Storytelling Skills: Strong storytelling abilities with a keen sense of pacing, rhythm, and timing.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of colour correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Storyboard Development: Ability to develop storyboards and create engaging motion graphics videos.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and strong creative problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your video editing work, including short-form videos, social media reels, or other creative content.
