The Financial Planning and Analysis Executive will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to Dropee. The incumbent will be required to develop financial models, create financial reports, and provide insights on financial trends and business performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analysis.
  • Prepare actual vs. target budget reports on a regular basis.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights on financial trends and business performance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and cost control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and analysis for business decisions.
  • Participate in the development of financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist investors with their queries and provide timely and accurate information.
  • Research potential business expansion opportunities and present findings to senior management.
  • Assist with Series B fund research and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
  • Support other ad-hoc projects, reporting and financial analysis.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in audit, finance accounting, and economics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Ability to manage tasks with high complexities, and tight deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to conceptualise.
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently, attention to detail, and be comfortable with ambiguity and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners at all times.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine interest in e-commerce/start up companies.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong communication skills to inspire and influence internal stakeholders (HQ or Markets).
  • Passion for B2B and business expansion.
