Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to relevant local laws and regulations.
  • Policy Development and Enforcement: Assist in developing, updating, and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Conduct regular compliance assessments within the Company, maintain thorough records of compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
  • Training and Awareness: Deliver training programs for employees to ensure awareness of compliance obligations. Keep employees updated on any changes in regulations or internal policies.
  • Monitoring and Reviews: Continuously monitor regulatory developments and update Company practices accordingly. Perform regular reviews of business practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Act as a liaison between the Company and regulatory bodies if necessary.
  • Advisory Role: Provide compliance-related advice and support to various departments to ensure alignment with regulatory requirement.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal and compliance role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
    • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Positive attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
