Qualifications & experience

  • Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing / industrial or other engineering course
  • Minimum 10 years experience in production management and workers management in a manufacturing company
  • Hands on type and willing to do and experience the work at first time and then create and implement efficient , proper and safe method/ SOP
  • Able to propose improvement to plant from material handling equipment, material flow and layout , space utilisation , work procedure, simple automation with aim to increase productivity and become global market leader in our industry
  • Have good leadership charisma and lead with example , grow the second layer staff to higher level in line with company 's goal for the next 20 years
  • With very positive and aggresive mind set and join the company owner team to grow the company with long term vision become part of the shareholder with long term partner ship in the form of profit sharing and future share option scheme

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Daily briefing to the supervisor and engineers - daily productions meeting to discuss matter related to Sales Order completion status and delivery
  • Lead and manage the team of 5 to 8 supervisory level staff ( engineers / Supervisor)
  • Improve SOP , WI and arrange proper training for 50 workers in batches
  • Ensure each of the 5 sections ( Receiving ,cutting, drilling , fabrication /assembly , packing/ shipment) are liaising and communicating well
  • Create a good house keeping and safe work place that meet the requirement of our international clients audit
  • Liase daily with Assistant MD and sales team and execute all the sales order in timely manner and good quality
