  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

As an Endpoint Management Engineer, you will manage and optimize the client device landscape using Microsoft Intune within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Your role will focus on device management, ensuring compliance, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing processes through automation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across regions, working within a global support structure to ensure efficient and secure endpoint management. Strong English communication skills are essential due to the global nature of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Intune and Device Management: Administer, configure, and manage the global client device landscape using Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance and optimized device performance.
  • Software Packaging and Deployment: Create, package, and deploy software applications across devices using Intune, ensuring seamless distribution and management of applications across endpoints.
  • Device Deployment: Support device provisioning and deployment, utilizing tools like Windows Autopilot as part of the broader process.
  • Automation and Optimization: Utilize PowerShell scripts to automate tasks such as software packaging, deployment, and device configurations, improving efficiency and ensuring consistent management across endpoints.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Collaborate with global teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to devices managed through Intune.
  • System Maintenance: Plan and perform regular maintenance and updates of endpoint management systems to ensure smooth device operation across regions.
  • Global Collaboration: Work as part of a global endpoint team to implement uniform management strategies and ensure consistent policies across regions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance system performance and streamline tasks to improve efficiency in managing endpoint devices.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in system administration with a focus on endpoint management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Intune with knowledge of Windows Autopilot as part of the device deployment process
  • Strong experience with Windows client operating systems, particularly in managing devices through Intune.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Microsoft PowerShell to automate processes and optimize system performance.
  • Excellent English communication skills for providing remote support to clients globally and collaborating with international teams. German language skills are a plus due to collaboration with teams in Germany and Switzerland.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex issues related to endpoint devices and their management.
