A well established Freight Forwarder based in Melbourne Australia is currently looking for an Import and Export Operations Clerk to help with our organisation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job registration
  • Cargo automation
  • Pre-alerts and arrival notices
  • Checking/tracking and validating shipments
  • Customs Clearance
  • Arrange cartages
  • Invoicing/billings
  • Quotation

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Office and/or customer service related working experience preferred or Fresh graduated in Supply Chain Management / Logistics.
  • Strong communication skills - both Phone and Email
  • Good multi-tasking skills
  • Motivated yet easy going nature
  • Responsible and Patient
  • Problem Solver
  • Candidates fluent in English is a must while majority local suppliers are English speaker. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred as role requires to communicate with Mandarin or Cantonese speaking clients.

Communicating and liaising with Importers, Exporters, Cartage suppliers, Shipping lines and overseas partners through Email, IM and Phone.

Working time is based on Australia East Time (Melbourne Time) Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm (currently 2 hours behind).

Melbourne Public Holiday plus 15 days paid leave per year.
