ACCOUNTS TEAM LEAD

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective preparation of full set of accounts, WHT & SST and income tax submission, cash flow forecast, and accurate reporting and statutory matters.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all accounting procedures and company policies where applicable.
• Attend to auditors and tax agents on any queries and meet stipulated deadlines.
• Lead, coach and manage team of finance effectively.
• To align and standardize end to end process and implement automation technology to maximize the efficiency improvement.
• Review creditor and follow-up closely on overdue payments.
• Ensure debtors clearing and merchant clearing are completed monthly.
• Preparation of yearly budget, and periodic updating of re-forecast.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, highlighting variances between actual and forecast/budget and recommending performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management

Requirements:

• Possess an Accounting certificate, LCCI, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Prefer some working experience in a similar position. Exposure to F&B industry is an added advantage.
• Possess a working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, excel spreadsheet and accounting software, preferably SAGE.
• A quick learner and good team player.
