Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete payroll process, including the calculation and processing of wages, allowances, overtime, claims, statutory submissions, tax filings, pay adjustments, bonuses, and other payroll-related matters. Responsible for monthly payroll processing using the HR2000 Quick Pay System.
  • Ensure timely updates regarding staff movements, including new hires and salary revisions, before and after each payroll cycle.
  • Prepare and issue final settlements for departing employees, ensuring that all release and discharge formalities, including tax clearance when required, are completed promptly.
  • Prepare annual EA forms and guide employees on annual income tax filings to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies in payroll processing to maintain accuracy.
  • Generate various payroll and headcount reports and conduct analyses as required.
  • Accurately maintain employee payroll information, documentation, and records in the payroll and ERP system.
  • Participate in audit activities to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Actively engage in other compensation and benefits-related programs.
  • Administer company insurance policies and process claims efficiently.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager to support departmental goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in payroll management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, particularly the HR2000 Quick Pay System.
  • Experience in processing payroll for at least 300 to 400 employees.
  • A team player with a positive attitude who can work independently under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the Employment Act is preferred.
  • This is a 1-year fixed-term contract role.
  • Able to start immediately or on short notice.
