We are looking for someone enthusiastic and resilient. As an intern in the Legal team, you will be based out of our office in Wisma Tune, Damansara Heights. You will be expected to be performing this role on a Full-Time basis. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Governance and Compliance.

You will fit perfectly if you enjoy a fast-paced working environment with passionate colleagues. You’ll be in the best position to learn about the different roles & responsibilities within the legal department as well as how the team works with other departments.


ALLOWANCE: RM 1000/ monthly

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. Your primary responsibilities will include and not limited to:

  • Assist in Governance & Compliance related activities.
  • Assist in compliance assessment, regulatory compliance research & reporting.
  • Assist in completing ad-hoc related tasks timely.
  • Prepare video, materials and posters for awareness on integrity and anti bribery & corruption.
  • Assist to develop regulatory compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assist in PDPA review.
  • Assist to maintain compliance repository.
  • Assist to conduct gap analysis review and reports.
  • Assist to review listing requirements.

Requirements

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

Educational Background:

  • Currently pursuing a Law / Accounting degree or a recent graduate in Law / Accounting.
  • Interest in corporate governance and compliance.

Skills:

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn and able to work effectively in a team environment.
