Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Buyer/Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This role involves sourcing, purchasing, managing suppliers and inventory management to ensure that our company’s operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sourcing and Procurement:

-Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities.

-Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.

-Manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance.

· Inventory Management:

-Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels.

-Collaborate with inventory management teams to streamline procurement processes.

· Market Analysis:

-Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities.

-Analyze purchasing data to develop cost-saving strategies and improve purchasing efficiency.

· Collaboration and Communication:

-Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business goals.

-Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and quality issues.

· Compliance and Reporting:

-Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in procurement practices.

-Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, SAGE specifically)
