DAYCARE ASSISTANT TEACHER - PUCHONG UTAMA

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and care for children aged 3-4 years in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Organize and implement age-appropriate daycare activities such as games, storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor play to encourage development.
• Assist in preparing and serving meals or snacks, ensuring a clean and organized eating area.
• Maintain a clean and safe daycare environment, including performing light cleaning duties like tidying play areas, sanitizing toys, and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
• Provide support during nap times, helping children settle down and ensuring their comfort.
• Communicate effectively with other staff and parents about the children's daily activities, progress, and needs.
• Support children in developing basic self-care skills such as washing hands and putting away their belongings.
• Assist in setting up and organizing the daycare space and ensuring all materials are ready for use.
• Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents to the lead teacher or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Experience in working with young children, preferably in a daycare or kindergarten setting.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle light cleaning and maintain a tidy environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: RM10.00 - RM12.00 per hour
