About the Job
The Sales & Supply Chain Operation Executive is responsible for supporting the sales team in optimizing sales and supply chain processes within the sales department. This role will be tasked to ensure the smooth and efficient sales order fulfillment, optimizing inventory management, and supporting the sales team in all warehousing and logistics matter to meet customer demands. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various departments such as procurement, sales, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives, conducting market research and competitor analysis. Eg. Events, Trade shows etc
- Process order requests, arrange for order logistics and shipments from warehouse to customers and working partners by coordinating with logistics and warehouse partners, including troubleshooting errors or issues related to the delivery of goods
- Manage fulfillment and warehousing partners’ operations to ensure effective warehousing, fraud prevention management, inventory management & order fulfillment management.
- Collect and analyse relevant data relating to fulfillment & warehouse operations to draw actionable insights for decision making or process improvement.
- Review monthly stock reconciliations & identify variances & cost discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales & finance teams to maintain payment listings and follow up on payments to ensure payments are collected according to payment terms. Eg. Invoice payment, account aging, credit notes, rebates etc
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement within the sales organization and implement changes to optimize sales operations.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales data, reports, and performance dashboards to the team and the management.
- Foster communication and collaboration between sales and other departments, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, order management, or fulfillment.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret sales data effectively.
- Self-starter, who is able to handle multiple competing priorities and operate successfully in a complex, ambiguous, ever-changing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a passion for driving sales excellence.
