Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain, monitor, and manage of Linux OS (CentOS, Rocky, RedHat, and others) and Windows OS environments for the company.
• Deploy, upgrade, and manage a new software development platform (JIRA, GitLab), wiki software (Confluence, Bookstack), and other Linux/Windows systems (hardware and software).
• Maintain related documentation and process definitions for system changes as required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of data on storage.
• Monitoring and maintenance of Server room facilities
• Ensure and help on the user’s requirements, objectives, and needs.
• Carry out special project or task as assigned.
• Consult with users, superior, vendors, and technicians to assess the computing system requirements.
• Monitor, analyze servers and storage, establish priorities, and execute projects based on deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, time management, problem solving and high competency
• Operating Systems: Manage Linux and Windows server environments, apply patches, and optimize configurations for performance and security.
• Understand Git and have some experience with GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with Apache and Nginx web servers
• must be familiar with the Linux operating system and be able to write in shell, PHP, Python, and other scripts.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to debug production and deployment issues
• Experience working in an end-user environment and providing technical support to end users
Required Qualifications
• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent.
• Some working knowledge in Linux administration (at least 2-3 years of experience, especially on CentOS, Rocky, RedHat, and Ubuntu Linux)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and supporting Linux OS environments
