Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities: -

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering / improvement projects.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications. Preparing SOP for end users to use where necessary.
• Interact daily with the Project Leader & team to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status to Technical Manager, project team and Management.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and other project participants to aid and provide technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Follow up with the daily routine job that has been assigned by the Manager.
• Carry out daily routine check that has been established by the Manager.
• In case of any problem occur, a preliminary report must be prepared.
• Require working on shift rotation and/or out of company working time depending on Project requirement/timeline.
• Execute or perform any other task / assignment that may be assigned by the superior. Able to provide some recommendations to improve machine performance condition.

Job Requirements: -

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any other related Engineering discipline.
• More than 5 years working experience in similar function, preferably from food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of ISO, HACCP and GMP.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Possess project management, time management, organization skills and supervision skills.
• Equipped with computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & etc).
• Willing to work on shift rotation when required.
