We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales/Business Development Representative, preferably with hospitality experience, to play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth in the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within Malaysia, developing relationships with clients, and ensuring the consistent achievement of sales targets.

Job Requirements

  • Must be based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru
  • Minimum Senior High School Graduate
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in sales/marketing area, preferably in hospitality industry or have worked in/with hotels
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Malay to communicate with customers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong multitasking abilities and patience in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing markets and customer demands

Job Descriptions

Sales & Business Developments

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and understand industry trends
  • Responsible for developing new prospects, maintaining existing accounts in the Hospitality Industry
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Identify product improvements on new products and monitor current trends in the industry with competitors and market activities

Account Management & Growth

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and manage receivables effectively
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Reports & Analysis

  • Compile market information (Example: market trend, competitors’ information) and analyze sales data to prepare detailed weekly progress reports
  • Generate comprehensive monthly sales reports to inform management decisions

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Singapore HQ team to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Sales Director from time to time
