  • Draft and vetting the internal and external Agreement for Company such as Sale and Purchase Agreement, Mall Tenancy Agreement, Lease Agreement, Agreement to Lease, Tenancy Agreement, Novation Agreement, Supplementary Agreement, Deed of Assignment, Wills, Perfection of Transfer, and others.
  • Aliasing with external Lawyer to deal with Conveyancing transaction such as purchase of land for Hypermarket development, Discharge of property, Due Diligence, Build & Lease, Sale & Leaseback property and many more.
  • Handling all Licence Application related to Retail Industry such as Rice Licence, Control Item Licence, Import Permit, Cheap Sale Permit (KPDNKK), PPM & MACP, Business Licence, JTK Permit for Staff Accommodation, Warehouse Business Licence and etc.
  • Handling all Company courts cases including any compound from government bodies for the compliance failure or breaches.
  • Aliasing with the external Lawyers to deals with litigation matters.
  • Handling IP breach, registration and Trademark registration.
  • Prepare letter of Demand for Tenant for breach the Tenancy Agreement and rental outstanding.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in handling legal matters within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract law, and intellectual property.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple legal tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in the retail industry or real estate transactions is an added advantage.
