Driver

A driver for a travel company is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services for clients. This role involves driving tourists and clients to various destinations, ensuring their comfort and safety, and maintaining the company’s vehicles in excellent condition. The driver serves as a key representative of the company, providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Services:
• Safely transport clients to and from designated locations, including hotels, airports, tourist attractions, and other travel destinations.
• Follow scheduled routes and adhere to the itinerary provided by the company or clients.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage.

Customer Service:

• Greet passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide basic information about local attractions and answer any client inquiries during travel.
• Ensure a comfortable and pleasant travel experience for all passengers.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
• Maintain an up-to-date driver’s license and any necessary permits or certifications.
• Follow the company’s safety protocols and procedures, including emergency response protocols.

Punctuality and Time Management:

• Arrive at pick-up points and destinations on time, ensuring that schedules are followed precisely.
• Adapt to changes in itineraries or last-minute bookings and adjustments.

Handling Special Requests:

• Accommodate client-specific requests, such as additional stops, special assistance, or sightseeing recommendations.
• Assist with organizing and coordinating transportation for group tours or special events.

Communication:

• Keep open lines of communication with the travel company’s office and dispatch team to receive updates or instructions.
• Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Ex army
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a professional driver, preferably in the travel or tourism industry.
• Familiarity with local and regional routes, traffic regulations, and tourist destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a pleasant experience for clients.
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills and an understanding of safety standards.
• Ability to handle long driving hours and adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
