Multiple IT Support Specialist Required:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support for end-user devices and critical datacenter infrastructure. This role blends hands-on technical work, collaboration with remote teams, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
End-user Device Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot devices (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
- Perform software installations and updates following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Assist users with network connectivity under remote IT guidance.
- Provide end-user training on hardware/software basics.
Datacenter Support
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot datacenter hardware (servers, routers, switches, storage).
- Perform cable management, labeling, and routine maintenance.
- Assist with rack and stack operations, physical audits, and asset tagging.
General Duties
- Resolve technical issues as per Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Perform installations, moves, adds, changes, and decommissions (IMACD) of IT equipment.
- Maintain clear documentation of tasks performed.
- Collaborate with remote IT teams to solve complex problems.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 pounds).
- Work in datacenter environments with varying conditions.
- Comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to tasks and troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
