We are looking for experienced junior and senior Sales & Application Engineer with proven sales track record who will be responsible for Industrial sales of scientific instruments, analytical, laboratory and process equipment.
Scope of Industry:
All Manufacturing & processing factories that have the application needs, Example: Food & Beverage, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics, Rubber Industry, Testing Laboratory, Paint & Coatings, metals, precision electronics, etc.
Scope of Product Profile:
Emission measurement (Flue gas analyzer, particle counter), Temperature & Humidity (Data-logger, Thermal Imager), Heating & Air Flow, (eg: Flue gas Analyser, gas pressure), HVAC, Liquid Density & Concentration, Viscometry, Refractometry, Consistency Measurement, Volatility (e.g. flash points) and Process Instrumentation, Air Quality tests Instrumentation and precision measurement solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Meet sales target and objectives set by management
- Liaise with customer on sales and technical enquiries
- Strong ability to engage with key account customers, opinion leaders, source out new accounts and other business opportunities
- To periodically visit, maintain good relationship with existing customer within your sales territory assigned
- Able to generate new revenue through prospecting, generate new leads and effective sales territory management
- To prepare quotations, provide technical presentations, professionally demonstrate your assigned product portfolio to potential customers
- To provide basic product user guidance of newly delivered products.
- Responsible for account receivables
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Any other task assigned by management
- Sales forecast, planning, follow up and market penetration.
- Sales presentation and solution provider for the specific products range.
- Sales & Marketing activities in generating more sales leads.
- Good customer service for repeat sales & references.
- Result oriented
Requirements:
- Degree in any engineering discipline (Oil & Gas / Chemistry, Electrical & Electronic or Mechanical Engineering)
- At least Two (2) years of experience in industrial technical sales of analytical, laboratory or process instrumentation
- Strong knowledge and experience on promoting on laboratory instrumentation for example temperature & humidity data-logging system, moisture analysis, viscosity, flue gas analyzer, emission measurements, particulate matter measurement, Air Flow, Local Exhaust Ventilation system, thermal Imager, precision weighing balance relate to quality lab tests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills through all media
- Strong entrepreneurial mind-set, MUST possess win mentality
- Business lingual, positive working attitude, ambition, self discipline, proactive, clear objective, sales target oriented, focus and patience.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, can do attitude, able to work under own initiative
- Mentally mature and pleasant personality with enjoy dealing with people
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Strong business communication skills in English and Bahasa is a must, ability to speak local dialects are the added advantages
- Outspoken and sociable personality.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Experiences in sales background on scientific or laboratory equipments will given the priority of consideration
