Job Summary

The Account Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance Department. Key responsibilities include data entry, invoice processing, and general accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Invoice Processing: Verify and process invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate records.
  • Accounts Receivable: Assist in managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding payments and preparing aging reports.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist in managing accounts payable, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate records.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and reconcile bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • General Accounting: Assist with various general accounting tasks as needed, such as preparing journal entries and financial reports.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Finance Department, including filing, photocopying, and data management.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in SQL system is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
