Production Manager (Blowing/Injection/Printing)

General Responsibility

• Responsible for providing technical guidance on the overall organization, management and control of the manufacturing activities to meet the defined objectives of the Company.

Job Functions

• Responsible for productivity improvement.
• Responsible for continuous improvement on yield and product quality through application of statistical and engineering methodology.
• Ensure product reliability through engineering analysis or product defects and initiate, qualify and implement product improvements to achieve zero product return.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of new products to the manufacturing line in a timely manner.
• Identify methods to improve the existing work process and flow to maximize the utilization of resources and to achieve optimum efficiency.
• Develop and implement new process and technology applications to maximize production efficiency, quality and yield.
• Plan, organize, direct and control manpower and equipment capacity to maximize utilization to meet production schedules.
• Responsible for the management of efficiency and effectiveness in utilization of man, machine and materials in production.
• Control of inventory of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Optimise the utilization of production equipments and facilities for cost-effectiveness.
• Lead the team to produce high quality products on time and at a cost consistent to the Company’s objectives.
• Work with relevant departments to eliminate production problems, effect improvement and maintain a high quality level and spear head action plans.
• Accountable to deliver quality output in a timely manner at the most competitive cost to the Company.
• Train, develop, motivate and retain employees to achieve high performance standards.
• Prepare reports on production efficiency against budgeted targets.
• Initiate problem solving and trouble shooting processes and reduce process and production related problems and delays.
• Participates in hiring and promoting subordinate employees; train new employees, assign, direct and review their work.
• Establish and maintain a standard of safety responsibilities for all staff and employees, to practice and ensure a safe and healthy working environment for everybody whilst in its premises.
• To perform any other related duties as Management required from time to time.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position and applicants must be willing to work in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
