Responsibilities

To assist Section Head to coordinate between RI Brokers and/or Reinsurers and Underwriters on Reinsurance (Treaty and Fac) related matters.
Assist in preparation and updating reinsurance documentation.
Assist in services rendered to enquiries/requests received from internal and external parties.
Compliance with BNM Guidelines, TM Asia Reinsurance Guidelines and Company Policy.
To assess RI Inward business offered in line with treaty facilities and underwriting tools.
To follow up on reinsurance closing and payment diligently for inwards reinsurance business.
Ensure Facultative RI entries are correctly and promptly entered the company’s in-house system.
To ensure all placements are completely ceded to qualified reinsurers within the time frame required to protect the company retention.
To send renewal advice 2 months before expiry.
Liaise closely with Technical, Underwriting and Marketing/Broking department on the placement of risks and issuance of the policies.
To assist in preparing and analyzing treaty renewal data.
To assist system set-up upon finalization of the treaty terms.
Assist Claims and Finance Dept on matters related to claims recovery, premium collection, and reconciliation of Account Statement.
Attend to the reinsurer’s enquiries.
Record and e-file all the documentation i.e. new offers/declined risks/advice into data system.
Involved in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) related project and any other ad-hoc project assigned by HOD.
