Job Overview:

As an Accountant Executive at Jaycorp LVL Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, issuing invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Your role will include bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, managing payroll, handling tax matters, and supporting the overall financial management of the company. You will work closely with the management to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update financial records, including P&L revenues, cost and expenses, cash flow projection and analysis as well as financial position statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and creditors statements.

Audit Support

  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Provide necessary documentation and reports for auditors.
  • Liaise with auditors during the audits.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit tax returns (corporate tax, SST, etc.) in compliance with local regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations, ensuring company compliance.

Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor cash flow, ensuring that the company maintains adequate liquidity.
  • Assist in managing the company's investments and financial assets.

General Ledger & Record-Keeping

  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date financial information.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed.

Other Finance-Related Tasks

  • Assist with the preparation of financial data for management reviews.
  • Responsible for overall budgetary controls, month end closing schedules, analyses and reconciliation with respect to routine operations and business journal entries and general ledger records accuracy and integrity.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with SST submission.
