The Student Service Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the Student Services department and performs a variety of coordination and administrative duties to provide effective and efficient services and ensure a positive student experience. He/she oversee the well-being of students on campus and off site when taking part in intervarsity activities

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and oversee the budget for approved student activities in the year.
  • Manage student through visible relations and student care programmes.
  • Enhance involvement of students and integrate both local and international students
  • Liaise with other external student bodies, association and universities on collaborative Project and sports meet and such like.
  • Handle student disciplinary matters, including investigating complaints and conducting hearings when necessary.
  • Drive and implement all approved Student activities and events. Guide students in their student club activities and turn them into active hub of ideas and community services
  • Promote student involvement in extracurricular activities to enhance campus life and foster community engagement.
  • Organizing Orientation programmes for new student intakes.
  • Assist students in securing financial support, particularly through PTPTN loans or KWSP withdrawals.
  • Plan and oversee student events, activities, and clubs, ensuring they align with the university’s mission and values.
  • Promote student involvement in extracurricular activities to enhance campus life and foster community engagement.
  • Accompany and chaperone students when doing external and/or community projects.
  • Bridge relations between the student body and management of Kolej MDIS Malaysia
  • Develop and implement programs that promote student wellbeing, including mental health initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and peer mentoring programs.
  • Ensure the welfare of students by addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Student Journey

    • Coordinates and administers student support through enrolment, to completing their studies, graduating, continuing their learning, and keeping in touch as an alumnus.

    Student Welfare

    • Counsels and confers with students providing program procedures, policies, goals, and objectives, technical guidance, and problem resolution.

    • Oversee the delivery of significant aspects of the counselling services strategic and operational plan.

    Student Accommodation

    • Oversee the operations of student accommodation, including safety, security, and comfort standards

    • Coordinate with maintenance team to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
