The Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist with a focus on backend systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and maintaining backend systems, rerunning scripts, and using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) for remote access. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of backend systems, resolving technical issues, and providing support to other users.

What you will do:
1.⁠ ⁠System Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Monitor backend systems and servers to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and system backups.


2.⁠ ⁠Remote Support:

  • Use RDP and other remote tools to access and manage backend systems.
  • Provide remote support for users and systems, resolving technical issues related to backend processes.


3.⁠ ⁠Incident Management:

  • Respond to and resolve backend system incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on operations.
  • Document incidents and solutions, contributing to the knowledge base.
  • Database and Server Administration:
  • Assist in the management and administration of databases and servers.
  • Ensure data integrity and system security by following best practices.


4.⁠ ⁠Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure backend systems meet business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with users and team members to provide timely updates and solutions.


5.⁠ ⁠Documentation:

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for backend systems, scripts, and processes.
  • Create user guides and technical documentation as needed.


What you need to have:
1.⁠ ⁠Educational Background:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


2.⁠ ⁠Technical Skills:

  • Experience with backend systems management, including databases, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) for remote system management.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows Server.
  • Basic understanding of database administration and network management.


3.⁠ ⁠Experience:

  • Previous experience in a backend IT support or system administration role.
  • Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot backend processes and server environments.
