Responsibilities

• Report to Senior Project Manager/Group General Manager and Director.
• Independent in handling top-tier Residential, Commercial, Hospitality projects
from design concept to site supervision/coordination.
• Competent in checking construction drawings and liaison with Project Team
on site/technical issues and provide solutions
• Assist Senior Project Manager/Group General Manager and Director in
resolving issues relating to land and local authorities.
• Evaluate the project's buildability and constructability via site surveys and
feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with specialists on site, such as architects, M&E engineers, and
other contractors.
• Use specialized expertise to assess the performance of temporary or
permanent structures.
• Able to read and interpret the drawings, specifications, and conditions of
various types of projects.
• Responsible with competence in construction planning such as master
schedule for entire project cycle, sequence of work, construction
methodology, temporary work planning, analyses of cranes, site utilization,
logistics, and other aspects of construction planning.
• Able to provide value engineering solutions and alternative approaches or
methods.
• Assist to conduct negotiations with Sub-contractors to determine the method
for construction services, wherever required
• Verify contractor claims and variations.
• To work closely with project team, suppliers, sub-contractor’s consultants
during construction/implementation phase.
• Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and
design.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by superior.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the construction industry, ideally with
involvement in all stages of a project's lifecycle, from tendering to handover
(Completed a whole project cycle).
• Prior experience in Civil- Infra, Building, or Industrial construction related
projects will be advantageous.
• Solid technical knowledge in property development, construction and contract
administration.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills including able to work
independently and results orientated.
• Skillful in critical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Proactive and ability to work in face-paced environment and in meeting tight
deadline.
• A Registered Engineer is a plus point.

Position 2: Project Manager (Interior Design Background)

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Group General Manager / Director.
• Independently handle top-tier Residential, Commercial, Hospitality projects from design concept to site supervision/coordination.
• Initiate and develop inspirational story/mood boards based on the project brief, from a concept to a visual, tangible spatial proposal.
• Handle presentation with concept diagrams, perspective drawings and other means to demonstrate the design.
• Handling all design related scope including design, space planning, detailing and construction drawing.
• Review project plan to determine specifications, time frame, cost limitations and procedures for accomplishment of project, allotment of resources to various phases of the project.
• To work closely with project team, suppliers, sub-contractor’s consultants during construction/implementation phase.
• Take charge of material sourcing, identifying essential materials and overseeing their procurement
• Review the drawings and coordinate FF&E, MEP and all information that relates.
• Monitor, coordinate and control the progress of site work, ensure the project to be completed within the budget, cost and stipulated time frame with goodwork quality.
• Uphold quality assurance standards by conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues and collaborate with the Project department for timely resolution
• Conduct comprehensive final inspections upon project completion to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, continuously tracking and recording project developments for transparency and accountability
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by superior.

Requirements

  • Possess at least Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture and Interior Design with minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in project/construction management or property development
  • Solid technical knowledge in property development, construction andcontract administration
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D Max, and/or SketchUp
  • Knowledge of building trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing andgeneral construction
  • Excellent leadership, design presentation, organization and analytical skills
  • Ability to resolve complex design and communication issues
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills including able to work independently and results orientated
  • Skillful in critical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge in CAD programs and MS Project an added advantage
  • Proactive and ability to work in face-paced environment and in meeting tight deadline.
