MILL ENGINEER (SEMPORNA, SABAH)

Responsibilities:

• To assist the Mill Manager in mill operations, mill maintenance (M&E), composting and effluent treatment plant operations.
• Preparation of related regulatory documentation and budget preparation.
• To ensure the record of maintenance is up-to-date and the operation flow is smooth during processing.
• To ensure the optimal output is achieved.
• To counter check the defect issued log book and follow up with the repair progress.
• To monitor and update project works and report to headquarters.
• To plan and manage the expenses and costs of the mill and plants.
• To ensure Standard Operating Procedures are practiced by all employees without fail.
• To assist the Mill Manager on MSPO application and documentation as well as implementation of other guidelines and policies.
• To manage and monitor workers working schedules and increase workers' productivity.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering/ Mechanical/ Chemical/Electrical or equivalent.
• Possess a 2nd Grade Steam Engineer is preferable.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in palm oil milling.
• Must have experience in OSH manufacturing.
• MSPO Certification implementation experience will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong leadership with integrity and self-motivation.
• Good discipline and able to work independently.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work on shifts.
• Willing to be based in Semporna, Sabah.
