Summary

Responsible for executing daily compounding processes according to the production schedules, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring the proper upkeep of facilities and equipment. Additionally, the role supports the Compounding Engineer in ensuring smooth operations and timely supply of prepared chemicals to the production line.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily compounding activities to ensure the continuous and efficient supply of compound and prepared chemicals to the production line adhering to established SOP.
  • Perform equipment checklist, inspection and calibration; inform superior if found abnormalities.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the condition of equipment, tools and work area after performing compounding activities.
  • Manage indirect materials and department related inventory; follow the instruction and provide feedback to direct superior when needed.
  • To ensure all compounds and materials to be used are accurately stored, label and segregated according to company standards. Practice First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory management.
  • To ensure all compounds and prepared chemicals or materials are correctly and timely recorded into respective forms or checklist.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of chemical properties and handling based on safety data sheet (SDS); report to superior if accident happens.
  • Ensure compliance of GMP, safety protocols, company policies and customer’s requirement in work-place.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • Education level: Minimum Certificate in Engineering or higher level. Chemical background will be an added advantage.
  • Year of Experience: 1 to 2 years experience in compounding process. Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Capability:
  • (i) Well versed problem-solving and communication skills.

    (ii) Basic knowledge of chemical handling and safety.

    (iii) Fast learner, ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

    4. Skills: Basic knowledge of chemical preparation, handling, and safety protocols. Having a forklift license will be an added advantage.

    5. Language: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
