A Snapshot of Your Day

The Regional Head of Proposals for Single Shaft Compression (SSC) AP will be responsible for leading the local proposal team in the development of winning proposals for Single Shaft compression projects. The successful candidate will also ensure that the proposals are technically correct, delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, the candidate will support the global Head of Bid Management SSC to manage the internal network with Product Management and Strategy. This role reports into Global Head of Bid Management for Single Shaft Compression and is in KL, Malaysia.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the proposal team in the development of winning proposals for Single Shaft compression projects
• Ensure that proposals are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Work closely with the sales team to develop proposals that meet the needs of our customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with key collaborators, including customers, suppliers, and partners
• Has technical responsibility for bid and provides technical support to the proposals team as required
• Ensure that all proposals align with Siemens Energy’s policies and procedures
• Manage the internal network with Product Management and Strategy
• Show proven expertise in managing complex global customer base
• Demonstrate global cultural sensitivity and international collaboration while working with a diverse team
• Experience in handling low specifications as well as high specification markets
• Responsible for the team load planning

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent experience in engineering
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the energy industry
• Proven experience in development of winning proposals for Single Shaft compression projects
• Deep product knowledge of Single Shaft compressors
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrated success in managing complex global customer base
• Global cultural sensitivity while working with a diverse team
• High collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in an international network

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
