AUDIT ASSISTANTS

Responsibilities:

· Carry out statutory audit, stocktaking and other assurance assignments.

· Assist seniors in planning and completing jobs.

· Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements.

· Obtain, review and analyze financial and operational data.

· Identify existing or potential problem areas and non-compliance with established policies, procedures and contracts.

· Keep abreast of current developments in accounting, auditing, and internal control.

· Report to seniors/managers and partners on critical issues

Requirements:

· Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

· ACCA & MICPA finalists with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply

· Fresh graduates or 1 year of audit experience in accounting firms

· Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, financial reporting standards, auditing guidelines, basic income tax and SST laws

· Analytical skills, excellent math skills and ability to spot numerical errors

· Integrity, meticulous, good inter-personal skills, commitment to deadlines

· Mandarin and English language skills are essential to communicate with our international clients

· Willing to work in various client locations, including outstation

· 3 full-time positions, open to Malaysian citizens only
