Accounts Executive

Why this role?

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our company. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable, treasury functions, project coordination, tax compliance, and audit preparation.

What will you be doing?

• Accounts Payable:
  • Process and post supplier invoices and staff claims.
  • Verify and match accounting documents.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and process payments.
  • Ensure compliance with payment procedures and documentation.
• Treasury and Banking:
  • Maintain accurate cash flow records.
  • Handle banking transactions and documentation.
• Project Management:
  • Collaborate with internal departments on project-related matters.
  • Participate in project meetings and track progress.
  • Prepare and update project reports and analyses.
  • Identify and report project issues to superiors.
• Tax Compliance:
  • Ensure timely payment of corporate and statutory taxes.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation.
  • Assist in tax return preparation.
• Audits:
  • Assist in audit preparation and provide necessary information.
• General:
  • Submit timely management reports and requested information.
  • Adhere to company accounting policies and authority manuals.
  • Prepare information for quarterly Bursa announcements.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.
    

Are you the one?

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or partial papers for any professional bodies e.g. ACCA.
• At least 3 years in handling project accounting or partial set of accounts (AP, AR, GL).
• Must be proficient in computer application software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Words.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Possess own transport and willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang.
