Litigation Support:

  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare pleadings, originating summons, and court documents. Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and witness lists.
  • Case Management: Organize and maintain litigation files, ensuring all documents are current and accessible. Track court dates, deadlines, and filing requirements.
  • Research and Filing: Conduct legal research as needed to support litigation strategies. File documents with courts electronically and in person, ensuring compliance with filing rules.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates. Assist clients in completing necessary forms and documentation.
  • Conveyancing Support:

  • Document Management: Prepare and review conveyancing documents, such as sale and purchase agreements, and title searches. Assist in the preparation of statements of account and other financial documents.
  • Transaction Coordination: Liaise with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions to facilitate property transactions. Track timelines and deadlines related to conveyancing transactions.
  • Compliance and Follow-Up: Ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements. Follow up on outstanding documents and client requests.
  • Administrative Duties:

  • Scheduling and Calendar Management: Manage attorneys’ calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings. Coordinate court appearances and other important dates.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical. Assist with billing, invoicing, and timekeeping for attorneys.
  • Qualifications and Requirements:

    • SPM and above. Able to write and communicate in English & BM;
    • Prefer candidate with 1-2years experience in conveyancing/litigation matters;
    • Candidate without experience is welcome to apply (training will be provided);
    • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Able to work independently;
