IT Senior Executive

The role will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of information technology infrastructure and operations at CeramTec Malaysia. This role will require a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a focus on delivering efficient, reliable, and secure IT solutions to support the organization's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the overall business goals of CeramTec Malaysia including the time frame for major IT Project like system updates, migrations and outages.
• System Management: Serve as the primary liaison with the systems provider and provide the frontline support for the users with the responsible to develop or improve IT policies in the company.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunications systems and always identify the opportunity to improve or update the system and software.
• Security Management: Ensure the security of IT systems and data by implementing robust security measures and compliance frameworks like implement disaster recovery process.
• Project Management: Manage IT projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues by running regular check on network or data security and provide timely solutions to end-users.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
• Experience with Microsoft365.
• Strong technical skills in compliance frameworks, system administration and cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills.
• Experience with IT project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
• Helpful if had experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SAP system and business applications.
• It is a plus point if possess certification/s such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+; Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE); or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
