  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary

Assistant and a backup person to System Analyst in administration and supporting of IT application systems which includes clients & servers, backup of application system & databases, communication services for the efficiency of GDMD system operation.

Key Accountability

  • Assist the Project Manager (PM) in overseeing and supervising system development and enhancement projects, ensuring that the project team adheres to established Project Management standards. Support the PM in identifying opportunities for business process improvement through new system deployments or enhancements and proposing new system solutions to support MCMC’s internal and external initiatives.
  • Help translate manual business processes into digital workflows and actively participate in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Additionally, assist in preparing RFQ/tender documents and executing project or maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure system availability with minimal downtime through proper maintenance, assisting the senior system analyst in promptly investigating and resolving issues while proposing solutions to identified problems.
  • Collaborate in identifying new system enhancement requirements, executing all change requests and emergency changes, updating software patches, tuning the database, and monitoring system logs. Additionally, optimize database performance using both manual and automated tools.
  • Ensure the security of the application system by monitoring network traffic, updating security patches and antivirus software, and performing server maintenance. Manage Windows updates, enforce security policies, and control user access. Review network traffic for unusual patterns and maintain backup and restore processes according to policies. Identify and suggest automation tools to improve security.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Additional Certification related to GIS Certification, ITIL, PRINCE2, Microsoft Professional & Oracle Professional will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant roles or department
  • Good experience in Agile Project Management, Oracle & MSSQL database, Spatial Database, GIS Ent Solutions, GIS Application Tools, SharePoint/Document Management System and Windows operating system.
