Finance Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage daily cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and placement of excess funds.
• Liaise with banks on day-to-day treasury matters, including trade applications, LC collections, hedging, and monitoring settlement deadlines.
• Assist in updating and monitoring Forex exposure and trade facilities utilization and settlement.
• Prepare monthly rolling cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Provide weekly updates on collection and outstanding status, send monthly statements of account, and conduct monthly collection meetings with the Sales & Project Department.
• Liaise with the Sales & Project Department to ensure timely issuance of invoices.
• Involve in E-Invoice and SST submission and compliance.
• Assist in monthly accounts closing and reconciliation.
• Compile and analyze financial information for audit, tax, and corporate exercise purposes.
• Assist with any ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Possess a Professional Certificate in ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or a Degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
• Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (to communicate with China suppliers).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and deadline oriented.
