Reinsurance Broking Claims Assistant Manager/Senior Executive ( Reinsurance Broking Firm )

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the operation of Reinsurance claims department

Monitoring and track all reinsurance claims processing and ensure it is handled efficiently and accurately

Preparation of reinsurance claims reports for regulatory requirements

Preferably the candidate possess knowledge in handling both reinsurance treaty and facultative claims.

Treaty Reinsurance claims handling include understanding of treaty contracts (marine, non marine), standard treaty clauses and exclusions.

Preparation of XOL treaty statistics for the preparation of treaty renewals.

Conduct training for cedents / clients in claims procedure and claims handling especially during major natcat events.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of claims processing

Additional duties and responsibilities as and when required

Ability to handle disputed/complex reinsurance claims matters and work closely with clients and reinsurers

Requirements

Diploma/Degree holder with at least three years of experience in Reinsurance Claims

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

Good skills in Microsoft Office e.g., Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Strong written and communication skills, committed team player

Meticulous with good analytical, organisational skills

Able to multi-task and work independently
