Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Oversee the daily operations of wastewater treatment plants, including process control and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance treatment efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct regular analysis of wastewater samples to monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing water.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to treatment processes and plant performance.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure all permits and reporting requirements are met.
- Manage capital projects for the construction, expansion, or upgrade of wastewater treatment facilities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to plant operators and maintenance staff.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in wastewater treatment technology and best practices.
- Participate in environmental impact assessments and contribute to the development of sustainable treatment solutions.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or working towards obtaining one.
- Experience with various wastewater treatment technologies, such as activated sludge, membrane bioreactors, and anaerobic digestion.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations specific to wastewater treatment (CePSTPO).

- Proficiency in process modelling and data analysis software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols in industrial settings.
