Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for products and systems.
- Create and analyze designs using CAD software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct mechanical tests on prototypes to validate performance and safety.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
- Evaluate and select materials and components based on performance requirements and cost.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing mechanical systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test results, and manufacturing instructions.
- Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding mechanical systems and components.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with FEA and CFD analysis.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
Skills:
- Strong design and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong communication skills to present technical information effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards and quality control procedures.
