Construction Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects at various sites. The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and deadlines while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed to specifications
• Provide guidance and direction to construction workers, subcontractors, and other team members
• Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management
• Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with plans and specifications
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Provide leadership and support to construction teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or project management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, practices, and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans, and specifications
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Any experience in high-rise buildings is added advantage.
