Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Staff Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient-centered care. You will be working with children of all ages and will play a key role in assessing their needs, considering their medical, social, and family circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients using a family-centered approach.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for children.
- Conduct daily nursing rounds, assist doctors during procedures, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and report patient progress, responding to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and manage medical supplies and equipment.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide health education to parents or guardians.
- Contribute to Continuous Nursing Education (CNE) and hospital training programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Nursing, with Post Basic in Pediatric Care.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in a pediatric unit.
- Proficient in pediatric and adult Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
