PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

End-to-end supply planning operations

  • Participate actively in monthly nomination with internal and external business stakeholders to ensure zero stock-out at all filling plants. This includes managing replenishment plan under joint-shipment operation counterparts.
  • Oversees end-to-end activities related to the purchase of LPG, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. This includes tracking supply performances/ KPIs, and monitoring performance versus forecast.
  • Responsible for developing supply plan for productions plants based on demand. Ensures supply is ordered and in stock, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders (CSC, Operation, Sales, Finance) to deliver an efficient movement of product, supply chain goals and objectives on product availability.
  • Be the single point of contact relative to supply planning for all planning horizons for the stakeholders to assess changes in demand patterns and convert the patterns into a doable supply plan
  • Build and maintain rapport with commercial and operation teams, supporting functional and department leadership for sales and operation processes.
  • Collaborate with importers for all planning horizons to assess their requirements and ensure the customer needs are met through a doable supply plan.
  • Understand supply chain costs and manages defined key metrics accordingly
  • Provide planning expertise and strategic guidance to stakeholders around supply availability, operational constraints, and suppliers requirements. This includes providing insights that drive decision-making for these markets and ensuring they align with broader business goals.
  • Manage and execute all term and spot supply operation based on supply contracts, which detailed out commercial and operational T&C. It includes product swap/ exchanges, borrow and loan, product quality, nomination process, risk and title, credit terms, product gain/loss, vessel acceptance, demurrage, cargo documents and other supply related matters
  • Daily monitoring of vessel movements to ensure continuous supply and to avoid demurrage. If there is a potential demurrage, he/she will put and effort to minimize the exposure
  • Manage wholesale retail volume in accordance with budgeted volume. Always ensure license to operate is valid
  • Reconcile volume during month end closing, timely submission for business accounting closure, submit accruals on a timely manner
  • Always comply with HSSE, marine cargo law, local law and relevant international requirement for all supply operational matters

Supply chain- contracts and non-operational

  • Assist HOD to monitor and analyze supply chain performances through monitoring product cost and volume against a budget. This includes managing effective stock management at all supply sites. He/ She will always strive to manage operation in a cost-effective manner.
  • To manage supply contracts on its operational and commercial terms. To support HOD to identify supply operation risks and challenges and propose ideas for improvement.
  • To assist HOD in implementation of strategic supply initiatives at local ground and address the specific operational needs of the business in their specific local requirement to support market penetration. Participate in decisions related to suitability of supply options and costing.
  • Responsible for providing business support services that allow for scalability to match activity and demand, remains agile and adapts to the market to achieve lower costs while simultaneously increasing service quality and efficiency.
  • Relieve HOD in his/her absence and any other tasks as assigned by line manager

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain functions, preferably a balance mix of Oil & Gas and consulting experience
  • Tertiary/University level degree with strong numerical, analytical and excellent attention to detail
  • A strong sense of commercial acumen and ability to write a business case
  • Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication & relationship building skills and good organization skills
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally & externally is essential in English and in local languages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in local languages
  • Able to identify business challenges and to focus on delivering results and generating business value
  • Able to work a part of a team with flexible approach, flexible enough to work additional hours if required
  • Microsoft suite office skills (word, excel, power point) at intermediate level
