Project Engineer

* As the Project Engineer, you will assist the Project Coordinator to coordinate and supervise construction activities at project site.
* To study drawings, specifications and contracts to understand the contract requirement
* To ensure that the construction project is run properly by checking the quality and overall structure of the construction progress adheres to the contract requirement.
* Where problems or defects are found in the project, you are to highlight the issues and propose solutions to the Management team.
* To work with project coordinator to ensure site plans and drawings are submitted to any relevant government authorities on a timely basis and to follow up on its approval progress diligently.
* Maintain the project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
* To attend site meetings, to ensure projects meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring, highlight problem or defects and supervising the work of the worker/subcontractor.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Preparing the necessary paper work or project related documentation regarding construction site/activities.
* Handling and preparing for OC application and submission for related projects
* Supervise subcontractors and workers with the objective of completing the project on time as well as meets the quality and profitability of the project as specified in contract.
* Any other ad-hoc work requirement as requested by the Management Team.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical), Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Being fluent in other additional languages is not essential but an added advantage.
Able to work independently and communicate well with all cross-functions personnel, including external parties, e.g.: authorities, suppliers, contractors, consultants etc.
Experience with AutoCAD software
3-5 years of relevant experience is needed.
Applicants must be willing to work in Menggatal, Kota Kinabalu Area.
Preferably Experienced Executives specializing in Engineering -
Civil/Construction/Structural/Quantity Serveyor or equivalent.
Full-Time/Contract position(s) available.
Salary range: RM3,000 – RM5,500
