Responsibilities

Sampling & Ordering Process Supervision

  • Support and coordinate the seasonal pre-selling twice per year

Assortment Definition & Evolution

  • Plan the appropriate product range by gender, size, colour, price architecture, collection and seg- mentation, taking into account required closing stock, historical sales profile, lost sales in previous seasons and opportunities for the upcoming season
  • Plan the appropriate mix of shoes by store type and tier by line, and forecasts and replenishment for the region
  • Monitor product life cycle and exit plan

Sales Monitoring & Analysis

  • Identify and highlight fast/slow movers, areas for reorder, areas for target stock amendment and other performance issues for both retail and accounts, and recommending/suggesting appropriate action plans
  • Manage and support range and trading plan for SEA (Own retail, IFS, Wholesale accounts) to maximize sales-through results
  • Work closely with Sales/retail team
  • Provide required detail to Sales/retail team to set targets, propose orders and recommend stock adjustments in order to maximize the speed and flexibility of trading
  • Provide information and propose promotion/events to counter retail conditions and meet consumer changes in buying behaviour
  • Monitor core or advertised lines and drive volume sales
  • Manage sell through rates, markdowns and strategizes returning of stocks

Trading

  • Work closely with the Operations team and Merchandising Manager on the stock analysis
  • Support the sales/retail teams in defining the appropriate promotional mechanics to drive sell- through and maintain a healthy stock level

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification, graduated in Marketing/Business Admin or related field with minimum 5 years of working experience in the field of Merchandising
  • Good knowledge of footwear markets and consumers demands and trends in SEA
  • Good knowledge of planning and merchandising systems
  • Knowledge and experience in footwear and/or apparel merchandising
  • Experience in a retailor wholesale environment
  • Possess a commercial mindset with knowledge of the latest trends and overall fashion market
