Your Mission:

As a Chemistry and Biology Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the complexities of chemical reactions and biological processes that shape our world. Your teaching will demonstrate how Chemistry and Biology go beyond textbooks, uncovering the molecular and ecological systems that sustain life. Through your guidance, students will understand that these sciences are not just academic subjects but powerful tools for solving real-world challenges, preparing them for impactful careers that contribute to society and the environment.

Who are we looking for individuals with:

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biology or Education.
Thorough understanding of classroom management and school protocols.
Comprehensive knowledge of the IGCSE Chemistry and Biology curriculum, including subject-specific content and assessments.
Proficiency in utilizing technology and computer applications as necessary.
Passionate about exploring the latest developments in the field of science, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Demonstrates strong abilities in logical reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking, numerical proficiency, analytical thinking, attention to detail, persistence, abstract thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and computational skills.
Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience.

What will you need to do

Teaching up to 18 hours of IGCSE Chemistry lessons per week to secondary students.
Instructing students, assigning and grading homework, and maintaining classroom management.
Adapting teaching methods to align with the 21st-century Cross-Curricular Curriculum (CCC) approach.
Delivering enrichment and enhancement activities tailored to students' needs.
Valuing and supporting students to help them reach their full potential.
Planning and preparing high-quality teaching and learning materials as per the requirements set by the Division Manager.
Engaging in curriculum development and planning initiatives.
Taking responsibility for achieving targets related to student retention, attendance, academic achievements, high grades, added value, and student satisfaction.
Undertaking additional duties as assigned, including providing cover for absent teachers when necessary.
Conducting or participating in at least one Co-curricular Activity (CCA) program.
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of students' progress and development.
Participating in marketing activities organized by the school when requested.
