Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Senior Social Media to oversee and execute the social media strategy for GamingVault, with a primary focus on Twitter and Discord. The successful candidate will create engaging content, build and manage social communities, and develop traceable campaigns that drive engagement. Additionally, you will manage a team of remote moderators to ensure smooth community interactions and chatter management. You will also be responsible for tracking campaign performance and optimizing efforts to grow GamingVault’s social presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a data-driven social media strategy for Twitter and Discord that aligns with GamingVault’s overall branding and goals.
• Content Creation & Campaigns: Create and curate content, including posts, announcements, and discussions that resonate with our community. Develop traceable social media campaigns to measure effectiveness and optimize engagement.
• Campaign Management: Create, track, and report on social media campaigns, ensuring they meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Use analytics tools to monitor the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Community Engagement: Engage with followers on Twitter and Discord by responding to questions, hosting AMAs, and fostering an active and loyal community.
• Moderator Management: Manage a team of remote moderators who monitor discussions and ensure a positive community experience. Provide training and set expectations for moderators to ensure they maintain a high standard of interaction.
• Chatter Management: Oversee and manage community chatter on Discord and Twitter, ensuring discussions remain aligned with GamingVault’s values. Intervene where necessary to manage negative comments or guide conversations.
• Discord Server Management: Set up and manage Discord servers and channels, ensuring an organized and vibrant community space. Host events, moderate discussions, and drive engagement.
• Twitter Growth: Develop strategies to grow GamingVault’s presence on Twitter, focusing on increasing follower count, engagement rates, and audience reach.
• Collaborations and Influencer Management: Collaborate with influencers, streamers, and gaming personalities to boost GamingVault’s social media visibility and reach.
• Trend Analysis: Stay up to date on social media trends, including gaming, blockchain, and Web3, to identify opportunities for GamingVault to engage with new audiences and communities.
• Crisis and Risk Management: Monitor social media channels for potential crises or negative feedback. Develop strategies to handle issues and ensure timely and effective responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the gaming or blockchain industries.
• Proven experience managing and growing communities on Twitter and Discord.
• Experience creating traceable campaigns and reporting on campaign success.
• Experience in managing remote moderators and community management teams.
• Strong knowledge of gaming culture, Web3, NFTs, and blockchain technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages.
• Experience with social media analytics tools to track performance and optimize strategies.
• Strong leadership skills to manage remote teams and drive engagement initiatives.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and engaging content.
• Bilingual: Fluent in English, with Mandarin proficiency a plus.
